Zi Yi Wang

Zi Yi Wang examines and transforms discarded materials and objects through the mediums of video, photography, and installation. Wang refers to this practice as “trash history,” an engagement with the flotsam and jetsam of everyday life as well as with her own memories. Her first solo exhibition was held at Olympia (New York, NY, 2021). Wang has been reviewed in Hyperallergic.
